I’ve found the reports useful overall, and they do give you a decent amount to work with. But for a smaller team, the pricing feels a little hard to justify. It’s good, just not sure that part totally lines up for us.

I tried connecting their data to the tools we already use, but the API options were disappointing. The docs felt limited and confusing, and I kept running into spots where it wasn’t clear what I was supposed to do next. I don’t mind figuring things out, but this made the whole integration process way more frustrating than it needed to be.

I was expecting support to get back to me quickly based on how it was worded, but I still haven’t received any reply. It feels a bit misleading when they make it sound like help is readily available and then you’re just left waiting

"Exporting data is still a pain"
I kind of expected the export feature to be clunky, this just confirmed it for me. The data on the site is solid, which is why I keep using it, but trying to get a CSV out is way more annoying than it should be. It takes forever, and a couple of times the columns came out all weird, so I had to download everything again. Maybe I’m being picky, but it definitely lines up with what I already thought: great data, not-so-great exporting.

I had a hard time trusting the numbers because the process behind them wasn’t really explained. Like I said, if the methods were clearer, I’d probably feel a lot more confident in the results. But like I said, without that transparency, it just feels kind of hard to rely on.

"Hard to justify the cost"
I gave NEW Zoo & Adventure Park a shot because I figured the data might be worth paying for, but for the price, I expected a lot more. Some of the info was interesting, but a lot of it felt general and didn’t really help much with the small project I was working on.
I’m careful about where I spend money on tools and reports, so this one stung a bit. For what it costs, I was hoping for deeper details and more up-to-date numbers. In the end, I didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth

"Updates always come too late"
Every time I’m waiting on an update, it feels like it comes way later than it should. I end up feeling less like an actual customer and more like just another ticket number sitting in a queue

I was expecting the reports to go a bit deeper. Some of the numbers were helpful, don’t get me wrong, but a lot of it felt high-level and not detailed enough to actually make decisions from. For what it costs, I was hoping for more solid breakdowns and clearer insights — maybe I just had higher expectations, but still.

"Decent data, but hard to customize"
NEW Zoo & Adventure Park’s data is solid, but it didn’t really work great for what we needed. We were trying to get more specific breakdowns and make a few changes for a custom project, and it felt like everything was kind of locked into their standard setup. Support was fine, but I expected more flexibility. Just didn’t quite fit.

"Sales process was a bit too pushy"
I was looking at newzoo.org for some market data, and while the info seemed useful, the whole sales process was kind of frustrating. It took me a while to get a straight answer, and the team were more interested in setting up calls than just answering a few simple questions. The pricing details was not really clear upfront either. Everyone I spoke with was polite, but overall it felt slow and a little too pushy for my liking

A lot of categories are grouped together, so it gets hard to understand smaller niches or make any solid plans from the data. Because of that, it’s fine if you just want a quick high-level overview, but for the price, I expected more detailed breakdowns...

I don’t have a lot of patience for reports that make me dig through pages just to find ideas I’ve basically already seen on LinkedIn or in free industry writeups. "Insights were underwhelming"
I tried using Newzoo for market data, but the insights felt weak. A lot of what I found was either kind of obvious or didn’t seem updated enough to be useful. For what it costs, I expected a lot more depth and something that would actually help with decision-making. On top of that, the terms seemed to change along the way, which was frustrating and made the whole experience feel even less worthwhile.

"Dashboard is a bit clunky"
I’ve been having a hard time getting around the dashboard. Finding reports isn’t very straightforward, and the menus feel like they slow me down more than they should. I keep having to check old emails or receipts to double-check details because the info isn’t easy to pull up quickly in the system

I signed up for newzoo.org a little while ago, maybe last week, or the week before, I can’t remember exactly — and the onboarding didn’t really land well for me.

There was just a lot thrown at me right away, and I wasn’t always sure what I was supposed to do next. A few steps felt unclear, so I ended up clicking around more than I expected just to figure out the basics.
Support did get back to me eventually, maybe after a day or so, but the response felt kind of generic. I can see how the product might be useful once you’re settled in, but my first impression was frustrating.

"Charts were "hard to follow""
I was trying to make sense of the gaming market data on newzoo.org, but the charts felt a bit messy. Some of them look "nice" at first glance, but once I started digging in, they got confusing quickly. I was expecting simpler filters and cleaner labels to make the info easier to read.
